    Alaska Free Homeschoolers (akfreeschoolers) - This site is designed for the encouragement of Alaskan private homeschoolers who have resolved to remain free of state control in all manner possible, specifically by not accepting any state monies through the State of Alaska correspondence or charter school programs.

    We welcome political action alerts of specific interest to homeschoolers and ideas and information about curriculum and other issues of special interest to Christian, private homeschooling families. We are organized around Christian, politically conservative ideals; that is, "less government, less money to government, less government control over all aspects of our private lives."

    We have also coordinated get-togethers and field trips for our children. We welcome you and hope this site will encourage you in your decision to remain free schoolers and free Americans. Oh, and we have FUN, too!

    ALL new members must post an introduction and affirm they are independent, Christian homeschoolers. If no introduction and affirmation is made, the moderator will contact the new member with this request. If no reply is forthcoming, the moderator will contact you by posting to the general list in case you have not checked e-mail. These measures are for the safety of the member families on this list.

    Alaskan homeschoolers or want-to-bees (AlaskaHS) - AlaskaHS is a list for Alaskans (or those interested in living in AK) that homeschool. You may live in any part of AK to participate. When and if you post an activity just specify your area.
