    Home Educators of Greater Little Rock (home ed) - Home Educators of Greater Little Rock (Home Ed) is a local support group for Little Rock area homeschoolers. Currently, our group is made up of over 400 families and is the largest local homeschool group in Arkansas.

    Home Ed began in 1985, when homeschooling became legal in Arkansas. We are a volunteer-led association, without office space or paid staff. Our goal is to serve as advocates for homeschooling in providing encouragement, organizing helpful events, and communicating through our always up-to-date website, meetings, and weekly email updates.

    We offer support, information, and connection opportunities with other homeschool parents. We also have activities, events, and small groups based on interest and available leadership. These include parent support meetings, roller skating, group attendance at theater productions, field trips, Homecoming, Junior-Senior Prom, Graduation, and many more such activities. We have an Athletic Association providing baseball, boys' and girls' basketball, girls' volleyball, cross-country, track and field, ultimate frisbee, and other sports teams.     Live and Learn Activity Mailing List (Central Arkansas) (LandL) - Live and Learn is an inclusive support group for Central Arkansas homeschoolers. We welcome all homeschoolers, regardless of race, religion, gender or educational philosophy. We are a homeschooling community group consisting of approximately 170 families from the Central Arkansas area.

    There are no committee positions to fill, programs to administer, or weekly dues to pay.

    Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators (CHE) - CHE is comprised of approximately 150 families across NE Arkansas and SE Missouri who have come together to support and encourage one another as we seek to educate our children at home from a distinctly Christian perspective. We do so in part by providing student activities, corporate educational opportunities and forums designed to encourage those facing the practical challenges of home education. Additionally, we seek to raise awareness of legal and political issues affecting home educators. Our hope is that as iron sharpens iron, we will sharpen one another for the task of raising and educating our children to live for the glory of God.

    NW (NorthWest) Arkansas Secular Homeschooling (NWA-secular-homeschooling) - NW Arkansas Secular Home Schooling is a forum for Northwest Arkansas residents homeschooling for nonreligious reasons. Anyone is welcome to join, regardless of if s/he is or is not religious, personally, or attends or doesn't attend a church, as long as one's reasons for homeschooling are fully secular (non-religious) and not about moderating family exposure to environments, learning, or peers not adhering to a particular religious perspective (such as, but not limited to, avoiding GLBT persons or secular study of evolutionary theory).

    This is not a forum for bashing or defending religious homeschooling. Our purpose is to support and connect secular homeschooling families in NW Arkansas. Our egroup serves as a point of contact for finding other secular homeschoolers in the NWA area and it is a place for us to plan events and share support and information about various secular resources for curriculum, events, groups, etc.

    NWASH meets weekly for play group and occasionally for other trips and events, too. In support of an active community for secular homeschoolers in NWA, members are welcomed and encouraged to participate regularly on the egroup and in person, suggest local events and resources, post questions and comments, and organize group field trips or other meet-ups.

    Northwest Arkansas Christian Home Educators Association (NWACHEA News) - Northwest Arkansas Christian Home Educator's Association news e-chain. This e-mail loop exists as a way to unite home educators in the area, and to provide information about community or group activities that offer educational opportunities in Northwest Arkansas. ANY local homeschooling family is invited to join.

    The loop is hosted by Northwest Arkansas Christian Home Educators Association (NWACHEA). This does NOT mean that subscribers must be a member of the NWACHEA group to belong to the "HOMESCHOOLS" loop - in fact, we welcome anyone with an interest in home education. What it does mean, however, is that the guidelines of this community have been established with input from the leadership of NWACHEA, and are based on the principles outlined in NWACHEA's Constitution and Articles of Faith.

    Southeast LDS Homeschoolers (SE-LDS-HS) - This email support group is sponsored by the Southeast Region LDS Homeschool Association and the School of Abraham.

    The Southeast LDS Homeschoolers online support group fills a special slot that no other group offers. This group offers homeschoolers a chance to associate with outstanding families and home educators from all over the region. As a member, you can reach out and find other families who live near you. This is a great place to share ideas, plan activities, or just ask advice.

    St. Gabriel's Catholic Homeschool Group (Northwest Arkansas) (stgabrielhomeschool) - We are a Roman Catholic homeschooling group in the Northwest Arkansas area. This is a forum for sharing information with other Catholic homeschoolers in the area and for planning events for our families. In the interest of the safety and privacy of our members, this is a private list that we try to keep open only to active, local members. If you would like to join, we ask that you identify your local parish and either know someone personally within the group that can confirm your identity, or that you attend an event before being added to the list.     Texarkana Educators Association of Christian Homeschoolers (TEACH) - We are a group of Christian families who agree that it is our privilege to teach and train our children, and that this responsibility is given to us by God.
