General description (or Mission Statement): Abundant Grace Christian Academy is a ministry to all who call upon the name of our Lord and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. As such, it is not our intention to exclude any particular denomination of Christianity from our school. However, it is our policy as a Christian institution that at least one and preferably both parents agree with basic tenets of Christianity.
Requirements: Curriculum is the parents choice, however I can counsel you on your curriculum. 175 days are required, single parents are welcome, progress reports are due twice a year Jan. 10th. & June 10th., testing is optional, however we will have testing done at our church for the SAT. There are no required meetings.
Fees: First time families: $100. Re-enrollment: 75.00.
Services: Field Trips, family outings, diplomas, and transcripts are all included.
Additional Info: We believe that faith in Christ and obedience to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God are the foundational aspects of parenting. In terms of public, private, or home schooling, we believe that there is no right or wrong way to educate your children, as long as you are obedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit. He guides each of us to make decisions that are right ones at the right times for our families. We have established Abundant Grace Christian Academy as a ministry to those who wish to home school their children legally in the State of Alabama.
