    Master's Touch Homeschool Group - Franklin - The goal of our ministry to be an encouragement to homeschool families and to offer opportunities and activities to enrich their homeschool experience. We exist to honor the Lord by encouraging and edifying other Christian homeschooling families through prayer and support, and by providing opportunities to meet with and connect to other families, to deepen our relationships with each other and with Jesus Christ.     Menomonie Area Homeschool Group - An eclectic group of families that meets weekly from September to May to share educational opportunities and play time. Special program areas have included a year-long genetics lab, a year-long exploration of social sciences (with a retired Augsburg professor), outdoor games, earth sciences, math games, art history. Preschool to high school. We are a cooperative group, and parents are involved in our weekly activities.We meet at our building, The Family Learning Center, at 1703 N. Wilson in Menomonie. In 2005-06 we meet on Thursdays from 9:45 to 1:30. (Preschool group meets from 11:00 to 1:00.) Come and check us out! Requirements: We require that parents accompany their child (or designate a responsible adult to accompany them), be involved in planning activities, and help to clean up the building. Benefits: We provide an opportunity to be involved in educationally-focused enrichment and lots of play. It's a fun group for parents, too, with exchanges of information, experience and resources. We also do regular field trips. Cost: Yes (yearly) Amount: monthly fee to cover building costs, varies, sliding scale group.

    Milwaukee Home Educators - MHE invites you to join us for our large group meetings the 2nd Monday in Nov, Jan, Mar and May, 7-9pm. Contact Sharon or Carrie for directions. On alternating months we offer opportunities for the kids to partake in a Science Fair, History Fair, Art/Talent Fair, a Christmas ministry outing, Book Extravaganza, and throughout the year we venture out on a variety of field trips. The $15 fee covers most of the cost for these events, monthly newsletters and access to our library materials. We are a Christianhomeshool group whose mission is to provide support, extracurricular activities, reliable networking and resourcing, and a loving, friendly environment for homeschool families.     Palmyra Area Homeschool Group - We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at Powers Memorial Library, 115 Main St., Palmyra, in the Children's Library (lower level) at 10:30 a.m. Requirements: There or no requirements.     Plymouth Area Homeschoolers - A co-op consisting of approximately 15 families meeting weekly to offer classes on a variety of topics. For the 06/07 school year we plan to offer a high school biology class complete with dissection, along with a range of classes for preschool through high school. .

    Plymouth Area Homeschoolers Co-op - We meet weekly on Tuesday afternoons. Classes are offered to all age groups taught primarily buy Moms who are each required to teach for 3 weeks per semester. We currently have a sign language class which we hired a teacher for. Great group of different ages and interests and friendly people. We accept new families at the beginning of each semester. All are welcome! Requirements: Each mom or dad is required to teach a three week session of almost anything they would like. Benefits: We offer field trips usually once a month for all who are participating in the group. Cost: $10 yearly.

    T.E.A.C.H. - Training Educating and Admonishing our Children at Home - Madison - An all-volunteer network of Christian homeschooling families in Madison, WI, organized for the purpose of encouraging other families in the training and educating of their children at home, in keeping with Biblical principles.

    TEACH offers a variety of meeting topics throughout the year, presented by both guest speakers and TEACH parents, in the form of a presentation, discussion group or whatever format best suits the topic. We try to provide time for fellowship at the end of each meeting. The majority of our meetings are directed toward the parents, but often many are appropriate for older children and some may be geared for the whole family. Younger children are welcome at our meetings, if supervised by a parent, or someone designated by the parent.

    Tomah Area Home Educators - Based on Hebrews 10:24-25. We meet every other month: Sept., Nov., Jan., March and May on the 2nd Monday of the month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Fathers give a devotional at each meeting. Some annual events are a Science Fair, varied field trips, used curriculum sale, oral book reports read at elderly homes and more. This group has all ages of children being educated at home. Interested parties will receive updates via email on a regular basis which will include newsletters and event plans from neighboring home educators that live in the Black River Falls, Viroqua, Sparta and LaCrosse areas.

    Wausau Area Home Educators - The Wausau Area Home Educators meet once a week for athletic activities throughout the year. These activities include soccer, football, rollerskating, ice skating, skiing, bowling, etc. We also gather for special educational field trips, and participate in the National Spelling Bee. We purchase block tickets to the Performing Arts Foundation programs at the Grand Theater and participate in special programs through the Center for Visual Arts and YMCA. Requirements: There are no specific requirements of parents except for attendance of at least one parent at all activities in which your child(ren) participate. Benefits: We provide a monthly newsletter, weekly activities, field trips, yearly used book sale, and yearly educational seminars. Cost: $20 yearly.

    The Western Wisconsin Homeschool Network (wWI-homeschoolnetwork) - To support the homeschooling community of Pierce, St Croix, and Dunn counties of Western Wisconsin, along the I-94 corridor from Hudson to Menomonie. We welcome homeschoolers in other nearby counties to join us, as well as parents in our area who are schooling at home thru public charter schools, and parents who are still exploring homeschooling as an option for their family.

    This group is a place where parents can connect with other homeschooling families in our area. This is a place where we can ask questions, compare notes, share resources, and generally "socialize" with other homeschool parents. Please post about homeschool-related events you know of in our community or within driving distance.

    Members are encouraged to ask each other about different homeschooling approaches, curriculum, and suggestions for materials with or without a religious focus. If you are, for example, looking for secular resources, please say so when you ask for suggestions. If you are, for example, recommending a Christian-focused resource, please state that it is such when you list it.

    Our homeschool community is diverse - but we are tied by our common belief that homeschooling is a viable educational option, a worthwhile endeavor, and a wonderful opportunity for families to learn and grow together.     Wild River Home Educators - An informal social group of homeschoolers from all walks of life who regularly come together in an open-minded and accepting environment. Located along the St. Croix River in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Wild River Home Educators provides parents the opportunity to exchange ideas about curriculum, family dynamics and teaching while children make friends, enjoy field trips and learn together. Currently, member children range in age from infant to 12 years old. Our members come from several surrounding communities, such as Osceola, St. Croix Falls, Amery, Somerset, Hugo, and Shafer.

    Social opportunities for both children and parents are offered on the second and fourth Fridays of every month. We also gather for monthly field trips, regular parent outings, resource sharing and service projects.

    We welcome anyone new to homeschooling, considering homeschooling, or just looking for homeschooling friends to contact us with questions. We ask anyone considering joining Wild River Home Educators to attend two public activities before joining the yahoo group.
